Alcohol-free wine from Moldova
LifWin is the alcohol-free brand of the Doina Vin winery in Răzeni, Ialoveni district, 35 minutes from Chișinău. These non-alcoholic wines are for the moments when you choose not to drink alcohol: two whites, a Chardonnay and a Traminer, and a rosé and a red made from Merlot.
The name joins the old English words “lif” and “win”: life and wine. LifWin wines have medium sweetness, between medium dry and medium sweet, and are made in the Republic of Moldova.
The 2024 Traminer has notes of rose petals, lychee and white peach, with a floral, slightly sweet finish. The 2023 Merlot rosé has notes of strawberry, raspberry and rose petals; the red Merlot, notes of red fruit, plum and cherry, with very soft tannins.
