Responsible drinking
Our wine is made for a table where people sit and talk, not for drinking in a hurry. A few words on age, on moderation, and on the moments when it’s better not to drink at all.
Adults only: 18+
The Doina Vin website and shop are for adults aged 18 and over only; you confirm your age when you enter.
Moldovan Law No. 1100/2000 prohibits the sale of alcoholic products to minors. We do not sell wine to anyone under 18.
If you’ve landed here because you’re not 18 yet, thank you for being honest. Our site and our wines are for adults only.

Wine from Răzeni is aged unhurriedly in the 1875 brick cellar. That’s how it deserves to be drunk, too: slowly, at the table, in good company.

Choose a wine for the table you’re sitting at and the people around it, not for the quantity. Drink slowly and give it time to open up in the glass.
Share.
A bottle is meant for more than one. Pour for the others first, put water on the table next to the wine, and leave room for conversation.
Take care.
Of yourself and of the people around you. Don’t pour wine for anyone under 18, for anyone about to get behind the wheel, or for anyone who has already said “that’s enough”. A “no” to wine is a complete answer.
Pregnancy and driving
There are moments when the right glass is the one you don’t pour: when you’re expecting a baby, and when you’re about to drive. At those times, don’t drink alcohol.
Why you won’t find the Wine in Moderation logo here
The Republic of Moldova is not part of the Wine in Moderation programme, so we don’t use its logo.
The words on this page are our own, written in our own voice, and we hold ourselves to them.
Alcohol-free: LifWin
For the evenings when you choose not to drink, Doina Vin has LifWin, an alcohol-free wine. It isn’t a stopgap, but a wine with its own place at the table, alongside the others.
The name combines the Old English words “lif” and “win”: life and wine.
The exact alcohol content is printed on the label of each bottle; read it before you pour.
