The label

The 2016 vintage label
Mihai Ungureanu
For the 2016 vintage, Mihai Ungureanu brought onto the label the “beauty” from the collection “Mândra maci și spicu’ de grâu”: a woman in a traditional embroidered blouse, looking towards woven rugs. The work is signed MiHU.
“Ia artitudine.” Both wine and art inspire conversation.

Herbal forest fruits compete with bacon and delicate earthy notes, framed by zingy acidity and fine tannins.

Juicy and berryish with a nice sour cherry twist on the finish. Lots of sweet berry fruits here with good balance and a bit of crunch. Has a hint of stony mineral character under the fruit. Very drinkable with lovely fruit.
