Event · first Saturday and Sunday of October
National Wine Day
Moldova’s largest wine festival. ONVV runs it under the Wine of Moldova brand in the Great National Assembly Square in Chișinău: the country’s wineries have stands there and visitors taste with the Taster’s Notebook (Carnetul degustătorului). On the same days many wineries welcome guests at home, with wine tours.
Doina Vin: a stand in the square at eight editions: 2017, 2018 and 2019, and every year from 2022 to 2026 (no. 5 on the festival map in 2024 and 2026); the cellar in Răzeni open to festival guests in 2025 and 2026. In 2019, at the opening of the 18th edition, the Ministry of Agriculture gave the winery the award for the Codru PGI region.

Protected geographical indications
Codru PGI and the other PGI regions
Moldova has four regions with a protected geographical indication (PGI): Codru, Ștefan Vodă and Valul lui Traian for wine, and Divin for wine distillate. Each is run by a producers’ association; all four are protected in the Republic of Moldova and, since 18 October 2016, in the European Union. ONVV manages the production of PGI and PDO wines.
Doina Vin: the winery’s vineyards lie in the Codru PGI area, and since 25 January 2012 Doina Vin has been a member of the Codru PGI producers’ association. The Codru PGI mention appears on some wines of the Artitude, Perla Neagră and Goliard houses.
