Muscat in Moldova

According to the National Office for Vine and Wine, aromatic varieties make up about a third of Moldova’s vineyards, and the Codru region, where our winery is, is known for its white grapes, Muscat Ottonel among them.

From dry to liqueur

Each wine’s style is on its card and its page. In short:

• Dry: Artitude Muscat 2021, a dry white with PGI Codru. Muscat is also one of the four grapes in Artitude Quartet White 2017, with Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc (honeyed pear, white flowers, lychee and citrus peel); the critic Jamie Goode gave the 2017 vintage 88 points out of 100.
• Medium sweet: Dolofana de la Prut Muscat, from Muscat Ottonel (12% vol): orange blossom, fresh grape, honeydew melon and candied citrus; Arborele Muscat 2022 (12% vol): honeysuckle, white peach, candied citrus and fresh grape; and the Muscats of Château d’Étoile and Lucky.
• Red: Lucky Red Muscat, a medium sweet red from red Muscat.
• Liqueur: BonaFlores Muscat.
